I was going through some files today at home and found this gem from the Big Sur event. Steve Miller and Brian Nova play "Nature Boy". Enjoy all.

Hi Kyle!

Good to see you back around here...was thinking of you yesterday while looking through my old, old PMs.
I ran across a saved one from ST asking "will I be able to shake your hand in Big Sur?", during the planning phase.
It's a good thing he talked me into going...it changed my life.
I also went through the old Packlite Beta thread...another "trip".

Julie & I think of you and Josie frequently, miss you guys!

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for this. It was just a little over 5 years ago that the planning for Big Sur started.

Phenominal memories.

Please say, "Hi" to Josie.

Man!....Loved that.

As one who could not be there, this really renews the..."mystique," that you guys experienced and have talked about, yet have not quite been able to put into words. I know this is but a taste of what was, but very cool, indeed.

Kyle, thanks for posting that. I appreciate the insight, and also see it as a way to improve upon my own presentation/set-list/etc.

Great to see everyone on here! Sorry to have been awol for awhile but always checking in and always using the Bose technology. In fact sometimes take it for granted as to the standard of what live sound is supposed to sound like. Have been working on a jazz project and trying to find a reason or excuse to get the guys involved up to the barn if it's still available for a recording session. Something about that place or maybe the time or all of you being there collectively that made that vibe. Can't let it go!!!

Joseph! Buddy!

Wow, great to hear from you.

I've got a VG pickup on my Ibanez GB10 running into my VG-99. Every time I look at that thing I think of you. (remember our conversation about the GB-10 years ago)? I'd still love to get my hands on a Teuffel Birdfish. Does your buddy still have his?

Wow, just wow. That was six years ago we all met in Big Sur. Six years ago - four days ago.

That was a life changer.

I'm doing just great. Feel better physically than I did back then, playing more, having more fun overall. Doing well.

How are you?
