Hey ronjazz, Plenty of Bose Systems at the Hidden Barn so you don't have to bring one. Does that get you over the top. I figure for most of us, this is an over-center-clutch type thing. Is your Hohner Steinberger copy one that has the little tiny body or the large one. (I have one with the strat sized body). And for all you Line6 guys. "To Sur with Love" Hear it with the PS1 Metal Patch.

Hi all, my wife Annie & I and our two sons will be arriving late Sunday night and staying through the gathering. We're looking forward to meeting all of you, and listening to some great music! It seems I don't have much time to post on forums lately, so a little introduction might be in order.
Annie & I are the founders of Pick-up the World pickup systems, and we've been passionately involved in the quest for better sound for many years. I also do quite a bit of live sound and recording work, and have had the good fortune of playing bass & mandola with Tom Munch. Through playing with Tom (and also from seeing other artists use the PAS with great results) I've become a great fan of the Bose technology. It is refreshing to hear the degree of transparency that can be achieved with these systems, and this is especially true when there are a lot of musicians playing at once. I've also heard the systems work great in rooms where conventional PA's would barely work at all due to horrible gymnasium-like acoustics.
Our family is coming to Big Sur to help support the cause, and also to share the excitement about how the future of sound is unfolding. Our younger son Devon (9) is learning drums, our older son Nick (17) plays guitar and is learning to build instruments, and Annie plays flute, sings, and teaches creative woodworking. I'm likely the most technically minded out of the bunch of us, and I do whatever I can to keep performers from being distracted by thier equipment.
My family is thankful to have the chance to attend such a great sounding event, and we look forward to sharing many wonderful times together.

Hi David, Looking forward to meeting you. Any chance you would be around if we had presentation on Sunday evening around 7 or 8 pm? To all - check this out. http://www.pick-uptheworld.com/and this! -- click to read all about it -- David, Is there *any* chance you have one of these you could bring with you. I'd love to hear this through the Bose System. Also, Cliff-at-Bose will be there, and if he knows in advance, we might be able create a custom preset for the Light Body Guitar.
