I've started a discussion in the Bass forum about a neat way for BassPOD users to deal with problematic rooms.

Hi Andrew,
I have found similar problems using the Roland TD-12 drum module... varying muddiness from room to room to outdoors. EQ can be a quick fix here as well, but I am finding that different "kits" work well also. So I surmise that electronic modules can & do vary on the job, more so than acoustic instruments/amps. Thanks for the observation, I feel better knowing I'm not alone. |

Maybe true, but I suspect it has a lot more to do with the fact that we're becoming more critical listeners since getting the L1. It's the old "oh, darn, now I've done it...I've made a clean spot, now I'm going to have to clean the whole house" thing. In the bad old days I didn't have the luxury of playing with different amps and cabinets on the spot, and EQ was limited to what was on the bass and the amp. Now I've got lots more options. The only trouble with using EQ is that it's a more involved process. I like this trick because it's a simple switch. ========== Bose L1(tm) Product Specialist Bridgeport, Connecticut Contact me for a free demo adouglas (at) optonline (dot) net 203.258.7191 ========== |
