I'm working on my sound with my bass pod xt live. I'm finding some nice stuff.

But, as this is my first effects unit (bass is also my first instrument) I'm sure there is some a lot of finer points and tweaks I'm missing that could really light up my bass sound. Things like what to put in the signal chain, pre or post, how to tweak the dials on effects in relation to one another, ect......

So, does anyone have any links to any good sites and or books that I can buy that go into detail about how to set effects for bass stuff and is easy to under stand???
