Got a pod live floor model for my guitarist. She like it overall, but hates the wah pedal. She finds it difficult to switch it on.
Testing it out myself I did find it hard to switch on quickly unless I curled my toes and put weight right on the balls of my feet, and I weigh 215. And if there is any sort of softness underneath the pod you can still miss it.
She was having a problems because she was trying to rock into it with here foot like her regular wa.
Is there something I can tinker with under the pedal, or a mod I can do that would make it trigger easier for her.

"I have found the problem and the solution. I noticed that on my XTL it was just about imposible to click on the wah.
When I looked under the pedal and found the button I clicked it a few times with my finger and found no problem with the button.
But I did notice that there are 2 black rubber stops under each side of the pedal. It looks like during assembly the rubber stops where place to close to the heel prevent the toe piece from making contact with the button.
solution: instead of trying to move the factory installed rubber stops and reposition them, I bought for 99 cents a package of 12 plastic bumpers (more like rubber to me). The kind you would find on a kitchen cabinet or like the feet on your DVD player.
The brand is called "helping hand " and I found them at jewel osco. They are about a 1/4 of an inch in diameter and sticky on one side. Just one fits perfectly on the button and closes the gap with the toe of the pedal. So instead of metal on metal its metal on rubber bumper. I can peel the bumper off easily if I need to and for 99cents I have 11 replacements. After installation I did recalibrate the pedal". "
