I just a pod 2 weeks ago and noticed there is a version #3 update.

Has anyone done this update?

Is it like updating the L1 to get the Taylor Tone Match presets?

Updating your POD ('m assuming PODxt) works through the Line 6 Monkey, you can download it for free from the Line 6 site.

Make sure you're registered there otherwise you can't download.

Once you have the Monkey installed on your computer, connect your PODxt through USB, see the different tabs in the monkey and see what you can update. (probably drivers aswell)

When you click to update a certain item (the upgrade itself) the monkey will guide you throught the steps on what to do...

It's fairly quick and easy, you can always rollback to your first 'state', be sure to back up your patches first (also in the Monkey).
