Well, I'm in Atlanta today and against all sanity, I just bought a new Goodall Grand Concert with rosewood and redwood top. I bought it at Maple Street Music and it's a great store with knowledgeable staff if you're in the area. This may be the best guitar I've ever heard and I've heard thousands.
Which brings me to my point. I'd like to find a system that blends a mic and pickup without altering the acoustic guitar. I know some here do some of this and I'd appreciate any tips. |

Wayne,
I assume you mean you don't want to drill out the endpin. The best option I've found is the Vintage Jack. Vintage Jack You can hook it up to a small stereo plug that will let you process the two signals with an outboard processor like a Fishman Pocket Blender. Pocket Blender |

This blends an under saddle with a mic or you could also try a magnetic like a Sunrise or Baggs M1 with a mic. My favorite mic is the Joe Mills, but I don't think it's available anymore.

Thanks Tom. As I recall, you had/have a Goodall as well? I've seen them around forever and read good stuff but had never gotten my hands on one until now. I can't believe the full voice of this thing!

This is a what a guitar store should be. I have been going there for years. |

Wayne,
I have a couple of Goodall concert models. Yes, they're very impressive. They have a nice clear voice. One of mine is a cannon & the other a more delicate tone machine. Tom |
