Anyone have a nice patch setting for their 814 ?

I just got both the L1 and a Taylor 814.
I'm using the T5 setting but cant seem to get the sound I'm really looking for......
a nice warm sound with some delay, chorus and reverb.

What cha got ? Care to share ?!

Have you tried Category: Taylor Presets? There's a whole family of them to try.

To find them turn the Rotary Selector to ToneMatch.
Under the display turn the left-most dial "Category" until you see Taylor.
Press the dial (same one you turned)
Now you are in the Taylor Presets.

On the Compact, connect to Channel 2 and set the ToneMatch® switch to Line (down position).

Make sure all your zEQ and ParaEQ settings are on Bypass.

Turn off all the effects (FX Mute will do that).

Run through the Presets until you find a couple that you really like.

THEN you can experiment with the zEQ if you want. You probably won't need the ParaEQ

THEN try some delay, chorus and reverb. Less is more.

You are looking at the Acoustic Guitar Category and within that, there are several Presets.

But there is a separate Taylor Guitars Category.

To find them turn the Rotary Selector to ToneMatch.
Under the display turn the left-most dial "Category" until you see Taylor.
Press the dial (same one you turned)
Now you are in the Taylor Presets.

If you haven't loaded something else on top of them, you will find them as the third Category from the bottom.

Actually I found the Grand Auditorium setting so I will play with that. Didn't have time last night but I will check it out this evening !
