good luck joey, I hope the time we spent via internet conference helped with your presets. ST. We tried out the ES335 preset straignt into the T1... rolled off the mids slightly in the Zeq, and a bit more of an agressive roll off of the Highs. Of of the things that was striking Joey's ear, was a Brittle characteristic of the highs, and some mild distortion, particularly on some of the lows. It seems to me that those guitars have pretty hot pickups and particularly on the neck pickup there may be a bit of tendency for some distortion on that low end. Needless to say, I think Joey is looking for that snappy fat bottom end without any distortion. We seemed to have that sound dialed in on an old Morley JD-10 on my L1 just a couple of weeks ago. Although I don't know much about the Morley, I do know that when the ES339 was plugged into it... the sound really rounded out and became very full, warm and robust, but still stayed very clean.

Here is a video of Joey with the ES339, the Morley, and my L1 with the ES335 preset I spoke about. It was recorded on a flip cam, so take the audio of that into account. Things sounded fantastic live in the room.

I've had good luck running my guitar/modeler on the line 6 pod setting - even though my modeler is different.

With the patient and guiding help of Dave LaCroix (DaveyCrocket) We finally dialed in a really good tone using the Line 6 setting, slight dip in the mids, slight boost in the treble and just a smudgeon of bass, added about 35% reverb, trimmed the high end off it and we were good to go with the Morley JD10...on the JD 10 we set it Treb 10 o'clock, mids 1:00 and bass at 1:00, gain at about 10 oclock and master all the way up....this gave a nice clean punchy sound with good for almost all styles of playing....
