Hi Guys … I search the web for this and I can’t finding anything and I hate to ask this here but I thought one of you might have a solution… I bought this double neck acoustic guitar and when I went to change the string {all 18} I couldn’t get the pegs to stay in. Every time I would tighten down the string, on three of them, the peg would pop out of its hole. I even tried wrapping in with tape to make the peg bigger and then I would pound it down with a hammer and it still would pop out when I would tighten down the string… I have never had this problem before and I thought that maybe one of you have, and figured out a way to beat this…. Any ideas would be appreciated…
I find this sometimes helps. I'll bend the string just before the ball end so that the peg is not holding the string. It is keeping the ball end from entering the string channel.
Does that make sense?
