I haven't been on the forum in a while but I still LOOOOOVE my L1 model 1 and I mainly use it for my death metal vocals. It really kicks *** live and I never use the FOH pa and people can hear my vocals clear as day but not the other bands we play with muahahahaaaa.
I was wondering if there's a good preset for the pod x3 live? I haven't updated the firmware and I think it is version 1?
I will have the pod x3 in a week or I would have tried it out already.
Should I just use channels 3 and 4 for it??

Hi ChrisW,
You can use Channel 3 or 4 but this means all EQ control then resides on the POD x3.

You may wish to have further EQ control and use the 1/4" jack on Channel 2 (leaving Channel 1 for your vocals). This allows you to use the Presets and EQ on the R1 Remote. I would suggest starting with the "Flat" preset (#00) then scroll through the electric guitar presets starting at "Electric Guitar Direct" (#25 on L1 Model 1) and continue through "Miked Guitar Amp w/ Sennheiser e609 (#37 on L1 Model 1). Stick with the preset that is closest to your desired tone, fine tuning with the POD x3 EQ and the R1 Remote EQ.

Yes it helps thanks Mark. I have read about the xt live with a preset but I probably won't need that then :-)
