BTW, is there anyway I can get a higher quality video on youtube? THe source file I uploaded was 30Mb and very good quality this end. But when uploaded its degraded a lot. Should I re-encode and upload a higher size file, e.g. 50Mb or will that take longer to buffer in youtube? Not sure how encoding works at their end.

Cheers Rick. Yes the L1 has improved my singing voice too, hearing the whole mix clearly for the first time, the same as the punters hear, is a great benefit.

I would say though that I had to fall in love with the L1, it took me a few gigs. Probably because I was needing to unlearn the old system of two EV tops. I realise now that the sound people previously heard was good but not great. So anyone initially put off with the L1, should persist as it is something they will never be without once they start using it.

I cant imagine ever using a 'normal' PA system again. There's no going back from this.
