We are at Bean Blossom for the 43rd festival with all kinds of bluegrass being played, traditional, progressive, new grass. We have 4 PS1 & 4 B1 doing the sound for the workshop stage each day from 2 till 7 pm.
I will try to post some pictures soon.
This festival runs from June 13 to June 20.
People will forget what you say, they will forget what you do, BUT, they will remember how you made them feel.
Well we are home from 8 days of Bluegrass Music at Bean Blossom. We had music on our stage 7 out of 8 days with Mandolin / Banjo / Guitar / Fiddle / Dobro / Bass workshops as well as band management / songwriting / & get to know the band sessions.
The most fun was a "How to use one mic" workshop with Karl Shiflett & Big Country. For this workshop I used 2 PS1s and 4 B1' up front on ether side of the stage (normal FOH) and one KSM27 run to ch. 1 of the left system and then "line out" to ch. 1 of the other system (flat). I also used a 30 db inline pad going into the 2nd PS1.
The rest of the week we set up with 4 PS1's across the back of the stage and used as many as needed for each band or workshop.
People will forget what you say, they will forget what you do, BUT, they will remember how you made them feel.
