We will be playing a gig after the last snap of the UT Football home opener. Game days in Knoxville are hit and miss for bar gigs. The stadium at UT holds 107,000 people - which is a decent percentage of the local population.

The game is pay per view on TV - so that may drive some folks to the bars - we will see.

Our show tonight begins after the last snap of the University of Tennessee Volunteers Football game tonight. As a native of Ohio - I have no dog in the hunt - so to speak. However - when in Rome - buy some of the local football team's static decals and put them on your conincidentally colored guitar - I always say.

I gotta go learn the words to Rocky Top.

A couple of years back I was playing in a college bar in Lexington KY. on the weekend of the University of Ky vs. Tenn. football game. The students had put Tenn. decals in the urinals in the mens room. It wasn't a safe place to be. Don't know who took them out but, by the end of the night they were gone.
