Great tunes on your myspace page Wayne....and if you can play banjo, I'm sure you'll be able to master the accordion in no time....BTW...I used to play pedal steel and got a dobro thinking the transition would be easy...but I still haven't got the dobro figured out...(and play mainly accordion)

Hey Wayne, congrats on the retirement. I still have 8 years to go but I'm in no hurry to get there.

As far as re-inventing myself, I don't think it's so much a reinvention as it is an evolution. That is to say it's nothing that I work on consciously and I never really lose anything that I have been.

In fact it may even be less of an evolution and more of a gained wisdom. That being that the simple rule in life is to have fun. Every day I get up and make myself a promise that whatever the day throws at me I'm gonna have fun with it. It applies to my music and to my whole life. Some days may be more of a challenge than others but I stick to my mantra and look for the funny side things. I mean if you think about it the worst things that happen to us make the best stories later on. I just decided to challenge myself to see if I can see the funny story as it happens. That applies to playing music, to my job and my home life.

Yes sir, cop up here in Canada. Although I don't use the lights and sirens so much anymore, I investigate child abuse cases now.
