Well, it's time for me to buy another one!

Anyone know where I can get them? I refuse to use paypal, and pay the ridiculous shipping charges.

I bought mine from Wallacher last time. Their website indicates another online vendor called "Axe To Grind", but the links don't work, nor does the link for a list a vendors.

Wallacher's number is busy, and I'll keep calling, but I thought I'd check with y'all in the mean time; I'm sure someone has bought one recently...? Smile

Nothing, eh?....

Well, I need one and can't get hold of anyone, including Howzithangin.

If by some chance anyone has an extra they can't unload, and it isn't trashed or altered, I'll pay new price for it, plus USPS shipping. I need one by next Thursday... Smile

Hi Tres!

I just tried the Howzithangin website and it appears you could order one via their web store. They even take Paypal. Don't know if you tried that or not, but it appears the Wallacher website doesn't offer them for sale. At least, I couldn't find an active link to buy one there.

Good luck...hope things are going well for you!

Thanks, John.

I looked at the Howzithangin website, but there is no contact information at all. No phone, no email, nothing. I don't like ordering things without knowing the item is in stock, how much the shipping is, or when it will be sent, or whether the order was ever received, for that matter. I also don't like using Paypal.

Picky, ain't I? LOL

I have actually purchased one from Wallacher before (couple of years ago), but they're not answering their phones.

Actually, a member of the forum here has stepped up and offered one to me (this forum is great!), which I will take them up on.

On a side note (just whining), I still don't understand why GC does not sell these. They're the ONLY vendor for Bose L1's, and this item is ONLY used on Bose L1's. I guess they don't think they'll sell 3 million of them, but I bet if they had one in the store (with a guitar hanging from the display L1), they'd sell a bunch...

Bonjour Tres,

I agree that the Bose retailers could make an effort. I am always very reluctant to buy an item that I haven't actually seen or touched, however great the reviews.

Our store in Montreal (I think there is only one selling L1's) did not make a big effort. They only told me that Wallacher was not one of their regular suppliers. But couldn't they become one? What about continuous improvement and client satisfaction?

Since you're buying another one, and I've read other positive comments on this forum, I might just buy it off the Internet...

Merci,

JFd

Bonjour JFd, and back at ya!

That's the stupid thing, GC IS a Wallacher dealer, they just don't carry this item (and won't, apparently). Actually, they may not get their stuff from Wallacher, but rather some wholesale distributer, which of course would not stock this item since it doesn't sell in huge quantities.

BTW: you will not be disappointed with the hanger, both quality of the item and design, and the convenience of having it. It's wonderful.

Wallacher

I called them directly and he took my card over the phone. No obscene charges. He gave some tech advice on how to narrow the opening to properly hold a small neck instrument.

Call them at 1-800-984-2644

Good luck, James
