I test drove the PAS/w/Bass module at Guitar Center Roseville MN, on 11/6 and took home the first one they sold. I love to share and experiment so I took it along to the open mike I alternately host at the Riverview Cafe 38S/42A in Mpls on thursdays.
I ran my EC30 BKE and 57Beta thru channels 2/1 respectively. My perferred solo package in that venue "was" a Trace with a slave 10" JBL. no monitor. For my guest performers I used my 6 channel Mackie (? the one with built in effects)
R/L channels out to the base channels 3/4. 58's and C1000s. Got some feedback, but not during performances, mic's were about 5/6 feet out front. 1K's are always a little testy. Need to stay close to the board when the stage is clearing. I was moving around the room to get the feel for volume needs.
11/7 My first gig with the PAS, and really love the sound while performing. Used some audiophiles in the crowd to get levels right, one feedback squeal when I leaned down to play w/ the remote.
11/14 Second gig. Weird shaped room with very high ceiling. Audience from 6 to 50 feet. Closeups were not cringing, that could be cuz I'm so smooth
