Two days ago we played a ceilidh in Aberdeen's Music Hall, the biggest venue we have played yet. I borrowed two model-1 L1s to go with our three model-2 L1s, so that each of us (pipes, guitar, piano, drums, dance caller) had our own L1. With a huge stage, we could get plenty of distance between the musicians and the L1s (we went for about 12').
What a great sound - definitely the best yet. Absolutely no problems filling the hall with the sound. No feedback issues, great separation between the individual instruments. The only downside was that there was more equipment to shift, but we still managed to fit everything in the back of a MPV.
