These are great pictures, and a wonderful story. We've done a few showcases over the last 4 months, in what looks to be a very similar room. I may have missed it, but how many people can you get in there?

Did you mention *why* you do this? I mean that sounds like more than a dozen shows a year for 8 years. Just thinking of it is exhausting.

It sounds like an astoundling love for the music.

We do indeed love the music and the community that surrounds it. Our family room and kitchen combined seat about 60 people. The showcase room in Montreal was about 20ft by 40ft and probably had about the same number of people squeezed at times.

There is nothing to compare with having great music performed in your home. Unfortunately, it spoils going to any other venue to see shows.

The concert series has also allowed me to connect with songwriters. As a result of recording the shows, I've ended up putting together a full time working studio

I'm working setting a new web site live for my studio if you'd like to check it out. It still needs some work to go live.

Great work on the website! I was checking out some of the pics and love the purple Auralex Foam in the vocal booth !

Closest Long & McQuade to you is here in Ottawa on Alta Vista Drive at the corner of Bank St. Easy to get to from the 417 from Montreal. Call them for directions
