I'm really amazed at how much info and feedback (the good kind)is available at the site. I play bass in a small country-rock group and have been sharing lead players L-1 w/dbl bass(1"s?)We have been very impressed with the presence and response. We only play small rooms, so don't require massive amounts of volume or air-movement. I'm considering a similar system for bass primarily, are there any thoughts as to pros and cons of using B-1's over L-1's??

Hi Bdff,

Nomenclature of the L1 system can be a little difficult at first.

The "L1" refers to the system, or more specifically the "line array" portion of the system.

The "B1" refers to the "Bass module", part of the Model I and Model II L1 systems.

For your bass, you would probably want an L1 system with 2 B1s.

You could start with 1 B1 and add the 2nd one at a later time. There are some special deals right now offering 10% off, so it's a good time to buy.

Does this help?

O..
