Fully digital channel volume and gain settings which can be saved for scenes.

That way, if you use the same gear, a scene is truly plug and play. You don't have to worry about the knobs moving during transportation.

Tuner Calibration Function:
I have mentioned this in an earlier post, and I think it would be an easily added feature that would be useful for many folks/situations. Further, it would bring the T1 tuner's capabilities up to that of many cheap tuners. A $19 Korg CA-30 tuner can calibrate A from 410-480 Hz in 1 Hz steps.

On the T1, instead of all preamp outs on channels bow about for one channel, mostly for vocals a TRS insert effect loop, so one can use say a TC Electronic M-one XL etc. hmmm?

As for the button to use for Tap/Tempo...

It looks like the middle button under the display would work. When looking at the Digital Delay settings, tapping the middle button does not have a function assigned to it. The other buttons do.

How about a foot switch possibility?

Hi there !

Saveable presets per channel, not just global "scenes".
Both myself and my bandmate play umpteen different guitars and a mandolin.
One end of the jack goes into our own Channel and the other end goes into the instrument.

Would be great if all we needed to do is scroll through a list of our own saved presets of our instruments - all while within that channel.

eg. just finsihed playing my parlour guitar with B-Band pickup, now switching to my Gibson J-200 with magnetic soundhole pickup - change preset to J-200 - done. Now plugging in my National resonator with Highlander piezo pickup - put that preset on - done. Next song - mandolin - mandolin preset next - done.

Could this be a software upgrade (download even ?) ???

Go to Scenes - press (for example) Edit Channel button and hold while scrolling through that channel's list (with one of the underscreen 3 knobs ?) of user-made own presets.

Hi again !

I guess my request isn't asking for it to do any new function - I'm only asking for it to be easier to access presets already in the Tonematch, PER CHANNEL, instead of only per global scene.

Any chance ?

Could it not just be a software change (additional choice in Scene mode) ?

A "Save As" function for scenes. When at a gig where some changes to EQ have happened that could be used again--such as playing a big outdoor gig--it would be great to save that scene under another name for future use.

It was my bandmate's idea, and a good one I thought (unless it's alread possible and I missed it?). She commented that she sort of expected that in most software.

Hi Mary,

Yes you can Save As...

When you are in Scenes and hit Save,
turn the third button (Select) and save into a different location with a different name.

Did that work for you?

I am with albanyeric; and I would prefer 4 combo inputs instead of 3 combo inputs plus one line input. When used with pickups and instruments the combo inputs sound significantly better than the line input. www.keeponwalking.de

Feature request from Tell us how you use Scenes

Hi Neil,

I'd like you to know that the "Scenes" feature has been INVALUABLE to me. I use it ALL THE TIME and can't imagine gigging without it. The only thing I wish is that you could override the factory scenes to save more custom ones. That would be my only request as I'm sure a lot of other T1 users feel the same way.

Feature request / suggestion from Tell us how you use Scenes

Hi Neil,

Along with the suggestion of overriding the factory scenes on the T1, may I also suggest to re-program the Singer/Songwriter setting at the factory before you ship the T1. If you'd like a new user to be really pleased straight out of the box, this setting needs to be changed badly. The way it is now is dead and flat and not a good representation of what the T1 is capable of. My suggestion is to change the Mic from flat to the SM58 setting (most commonly used Mic on the planet) and change the guitar setting from flat to the Taylor T5. Out of all the ToneMatch settings I've tried, the T5 setting makes ANY guitar sound really great.

I realize the Singer/Songwriter Scene has everything set to FLAT so people can start from a clean slate but I think it would please NEW users if that scene was already set up with a near optimum performance straight out of the box.

There's probably a good reason for this feature not being available, but perhaps on future T1 iterations we might see an XLR master out
jack instead of 1/4". Not for enhanced audio quality (of which there might be none), but to carry phantom power from the L1 Channel 1 or 2
inputs back to the T1 so us Model I owners wouldn't have to drag around another adapter! *slightly envious of Model II owners* Big Grin

I just checked my T1 power adapter and it puts out 18 volts DC. Hmmm.
