I am truly amazed. South Florida location. The BOSE site says that it is a 3-4 week shipping time for the T1 from them. I bought a L1 Compact at Guitar Center and they have no T1 in stock. What makes it laughable is that they sell the Model 2. I call 2 BOSE factory stores. Within a 100 mile radius. They have no T1 audio engine in stock. BOSE factory store. WOW!! I want to go and get one. I can't. I will have to see if the Guitar Center online has one they could ship. I have to say it is a pretty sad state of afairs when the local point of service locations do not have units to demo and purchase. I would like to see the face of someon who goes into Guitar Center and wants the full monty only to be told we don't have the T1 audio engine in stock. Not even to demo. WOW!!

That would be my luck. I just got the T1. Just like I am getting ready to update my Vista operating system to 7 and just seen something online about Windows 8. If that was the case, I would be first in line to see what a T2 would have to offer.

Sure enough, when I did a search on Guitar Center, all that would come up was a factory restock. They did come up at American Music Supply though. Could be one of them deals where you order it and soon after get an email telling you they are backordered or something.

I'm sorry you are having trouble finding a T1. I know how frustrating that can be when it happens to me.

Musicians Friend says they have new T1s in stock. Perhaps a phone call could confirm that?

Hummmmm??? I've been a Bose L1 System customer for some time, now. I've never heard of a "product shortage" of any item in this product line.

I'm thinking like Col. Andy..... T2 to appear soon???? Again, pure speculation...
