Hi
We use 3x L1 stacks, linking them all together, in smaller venues but would like to add to them to amplify the sound in larger venues. What would you suggest?
We really want to stick to Bose as the sound quality is so good, and if we can just amplify the sound that we have mixed through the tonematches it would be ideal as we don't always get an engineer. Could we for example connect in to a pair of 802s? And if so would we need another amplifier?
Any advice would be great.
Regards Dee

Hi Dee,
Thank you for joining the Forum.

Could you tell us more about your show, where you perform, who is there (the audience) and what the audience is doing while you perform.

I'm trying to get a sense of how much space you are trying to fill with your L1®s.

If you were to use 802s, you would need another amplifier, but I'd like to know more about your environment and requirements before going down that road.

Hi
The band consists of acoustic guitar;bass guitar; keyboard; violin; viola and cello. Plus 2-3 vocals.
www.virginsoldiers.com - if you have a look and listen it will give you a better idea.
The venues vary and some are outside. The audiences are usually pretty quiet but we need to be able to get the volume up to a level that fills the venue. Currently we can only get up to 5 and we get feedback. I have wondered about getting extra towers and also wondered if extra B1 bass modules would help as we currently only have 3, one for each tower. Any advice would be great.

How are you linking them together at the moment? What instruments and vocals are going to which tower(s)? Are you using a T1, or a 3rd party mixer?

Hi Dee,

Nice website.

Could you tell us more about the audience sizes?

Also - please take a minute to show us your typical stage layout.

We have an online tool for that. It will take a lot less time than trying to type it out.
