My guitar preamp has two (L & R) XLR balanced outs; and my bass preamp has one XLR balanced out. These are all line level. The T1 only allows mic level, XLR balanced inputs correct?
I suppose I can use the 1/4" TR unbalanced outs.
So to use the balanced stereo outs (L & R) from my guitar preamp, I'll need XLR to 1/4" TRS cables or adapters into T1 Channel 4/5.
Any plans to make the XLR inputs on channels 1-3 line/mic level switchable?

The T1® can most likely accept the line-level XLR inputs from your Guitar preamps and your Bass preamp.
I believe that the T1® XLR inputs on channels 1-3 were designed to accept inputs from microphones up to normal line-level inputs without needing a switch or a pad. This is in unlike the Model I (or Classic) Power Stand where a pad is recommended for line-level inputs.
If you have the XLR-XLR cables, Please give it a try and let us know if you have any issues.

As ST pointed out, the T1 inputs will accept a wide range of signals. We have not encountered a normal use where someone needed a pad - even using +4dbU console outputs, which is as high as it gets.
I will provide some hard data for this early next week.
