How do the ToneMatch settings come about?

Who initiates the development of a ToneMatch setting?

Having just purchased a microphone that is not specifically listed - i am curious if it is possible to lobby for the development of a setting specific for this mic.

I'm not aware of any formal process to make requests but Craig-at-Bose is gathering information.
