HI All
Just buy an inexpensive XStand and thin metal shelf that goes on top of the xstand. ( The ends of the shelf are made so that it can't slide off of the stand). Use industrial velcro and velcro the Tonematch to the self. Keep the shelf near you. Works like a charm. Maybe put your wireless receiver on the self also. You can also use the self for other things you need nearby for your gig. Now I can't wait for someone to say.....".Yeah, but now we gotta carry an Xstand and shelf! LOL! Happy Thanksgiving to all! AJ Music is neither new or old it just ......"is" |

The main (and I stress main) reason mounting was not incorporated into the design was aesthetics? OK, I can dig that.
But wait, the suggested solution is to purchase an additional accessory to mount the T1 next to something far thinner? OK - you got me! I'm being a wise a$$ I did purchased the mic adapter and the 'clamp-arm' broke today. Has only added to distress in regards to this design decision. Call for a return number, package, drive to post office, wait for replacement. Otherwise? Thrilled! But come on guys - this was such an easy win/win. Dave I don't try to play songs people like to hear. I try to make the songs that I play songs that people like to hear. |

My impression is that the speaker column being plastic, is not designed to hold accessories off to an angle on it, but to stand up straight with the speaker array. The Microphone stand is a steel shaft, with greater carrying strength. Unfortunately the bracket, which has 2 click and lock notches, seems to work best on the second click. My first clip on broke after 3 gigs in the tighter position. The replacement, which I use on the 2nd clip ( a bit looser, but solid) has now worked without any issues going on 2 years. In a pinch, if the pin has let go, a paper clip for the pin will get you through, till the replacement shows up. |

I'm a little puzzled by this statement Craig. I'm probably buying one, but I can't imagine using it (except on rare occasion) without at least some kind of mixer. Not only for my sound on vocals or sax, but also for the tracks, whether iPod in, or line in from a MD player. There is only a basic B/T on the mic input, and no sound modifying control whatsoever, on the instrument/line-in channel. How can that possibly be "the right feature set...w/o the need for any additional gear"? Even el cheapo small powered speakers these days have multi-channel mixers, some with eq & efx capabilities. But with little tonal ability, and no efx whatsoever, I can't imagine much use of the compact alone.
Why would it penalize those who choose not to use a T1? Instead it penalizes those who already have one, or those who choose to purchase one, since it forces them to also purchase a power supply, and have more cords & plugs to contend with? And what's wrong with an extra bonus for those using compatible, & complimentary Bose products? Is Line 6 "penalizing" all the guitarists who buy Pods, since there is a special port specifically for the Bose L1? I've not heard a big protest from their customers...
