Record audio on Laptop from L1® Model IIGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
Hi Everyone - My church was recently able to purchase a Bose L1 Model II, and they have begun to use it as their sound system within the entire sanctuary. We used to have no problem recording our sermons for distribution via podcast with the old system, but now we're trying to solve the problem of recording from the Bose System. Any help?

Hi VoxRobotica, Thank you for joining the Forum. Do you have a T1 ToneMatch® Audio Engine? If not, are you using a mixer? How did you record your sermons before you got your Bose L1® Model II? What have you tried that has not worked?

Hi ST- I wish that I had checked back here sooner! Well, we recorded through a Behringer mixer into a laptop before. It was basically outputted thru the same system that the PA was. I'm not sure if we have the Tone Match - I haven't looked close enough at the system to find out. I believe we have something like that. What would the solution be using each of them? Does the ToneMatch have an RCA output like a tape out option? Then I could at least connect it to my MacBook via the iMic system that I have set up for my house....

Hi VoxRobotica, If you have T1® you can record directly to your MacBook using the connection. You would not need the iMic system.See for more details about that connection. and Recording with GarageBand for some general principles that will apply even if you are using different software for recording.
