Hi Everyone: Last night I ordered my new Bose L1 Model2 System which includes the T-1 and two B1 bass modules. Cant wait for it to arrive. I also ordered the T-1 mic stand mount. This seems like the best way to use the T-1 when playing live. The only question I have at the moment is do I need to order a longer T-1 cable? I cant find any information on the length of the cable that comes with the system. If I do need a longer cable what type and where would I acquire one? Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Best regards, Steve

Hi Steve, Congratulations! The stock cable that comes with the T1® is 18 feet long. It works fine for me most of the time, but if I need a longer line I use a computer network cable. You can read all about that here: T1® Cables. Does that help?

Hi ST: WOW! Thank you! Lots of really good information. As far as my music goes been playing guitar and singing for over 45 years. Yep I am a bit aged. LOL! I enjoy all types of music. I currently play lead guitar and sing lead and harmony vocals with a classic rock band. I also have a deep love for acoustic guitar. This is where my new Bose L1 comes in. I am currently putting together a one man show and I think the Bose L1 System will fit the bill nicely. It is due to arrive at my local music store on Thursday so you can just imagine my excitement! Again thank you so much for all of your help! Best regards, Steve

Hi Steve, Thanks for the back story. I'm thinking that you probably started playing guitar as a toddler. I use my Model II and T1® for my electric guitar rig in band situations too. It's great for the solo and duo work of course. I retired all my acoustic guitar gear when I got my T1® and Model II. There was just no need for anything else. Simple. For your Classic Rock Band gig - check out your L1® as a guitar amp. If you've got a good amp modeler or speaker emulator in your rig, you might come to find as I have, that the Model II is a great amp for electric guitar. Have run on Thursday.

Hi ST: Thanks so much for the additional information. I will also be using my L1 Model 2 for an acoustic duo show as well. One more day to go! Regards, Steve
