I'm considering purchasing the Ll II with TM and have some concerns about how I would adjust the TM with my keyboard -- since there are so many instruments that it produces --- would there be a "general" setting to handle, say, piano, flute, sax, guitar, trombone, etc.? Also, my mic goes through the TC Helicon of the Korg, which, I believe, is already EQ'd. Would I have to adjust for this with the TM? Thanks
Let me first welcome you to the forum, and thank you for your question!
In you situation, you might not even need to use any ToneMatch presets at all (there are two general ones called "high volume music" and "low volume music" that you can try). What we also have available is the zEQ, a three band (low/mid/high) that is available for every channel, in addition to a parametric EQ if you have to scoop out a certain frequency.
So, the T1 ToneMatch Audio Engine has ALOT of EQ options but also has the ability to save user scenes. So if you where switching synth sounds in between songs, you could quickly load up a new scene, with all new eq, on the fly. I hope this helps with your decision!
