Suddenly the bass module on my L1 Model 1 is not working.
What could be the cause and remedy?

jlauchmen,

Welcome to the forum. If your B1 is not passing audio I would try the following things in this order:

1. Turn on the L1 and see if your power LED on the powerstand is "amber" in color. If the LED is amber please contact service at 877-335-2673.

2. Try disconneting and reconnecting the B1 cable from the power stand and B1 (rememer to twist).

3. Try a different NL4 cable

Good luck, please let us know how it goes.

Thanks Neil

jlauchmen,
Sorry to hear of your issue with your B1! Does your power LED light on your power stand show anything other than green? If it does, you may have a bad amp for your B1. If it shows a solid green, then check your connections on each end of the cable that connects the b1 to the power stand. The cable end does twist off revealing the bare wire leads into the connector. If the cable has started to come undone it could explain your issue. Please let us know the results.

Thanks,

Joe-At-Bose
