L1 Compact Ext roadblock

I downloaded the users manual for L1 Compact cos I'm considering buying one or two, was disheartened to discover that you must use both
ext tubes, it's a deal killer now, Do you
have a workaround, or can you custom pre-order
L1 compacts to function with only 1 ext tube.

Hi maxon,

Welcome to the forum!

The manual does state that both extensions must be used but this is more a suggestion than a warning against improper use. The system will function just with fine with either or both extensions connected. We found that the system height with both extensions used and the portability with no extensions used to be most beneficial setups for most situations. You can certainly use the system with one extension though.

I hope that info helps. Thank you!

Bob
