I have have an L1 Classic (with blue marking for bass cable). I just picked up another classic that is the older version...without the blue. Is there any way I can tell what firmware it has on it?

Plan to do a little dj work with them and need to match up the firmware and would like to benefit from the preset updated by 3.0. I'm assuming my later model classic has the 2.0 update and I can just load the 3.0.

For the older classic does the 3.0 update cover the firmware too? Hate to have to burn more cd's than I have to.

The presets 3.0 update does not include a firmware update for the L1 Classic, since that disc was intended for use on the L1 Model I as well. The presets 2.0 update kit for an L1 Classic should contain a firmware disc for firmware 1.84 as well. If you need a 2.0 + firmware disc you can get it by calling us @ (877) 225-2673.
