Hi bortchy, If you want to connect ten sources (four stereo and 6 mono), we suggest using a mixer of your choice with the L1. As long as the mixer you choose has enough inputs, connect all your sources to the mixer and then connect the output of the mixer to the L1. The L1 system that would work best for you depends on the audience size to which you would be performing. A single L1 Compact is recommended for crowds of about 100. A single L1 Model I or L1 Model II is recommended for crowds of about 500. I hope that info helps! Hi bortchy, For setup with your mixer, here are the main differences between the Model I and the Model II: 1. The Model II’s drivers are angled in an alternating fashion allowing the system to reach a wider listening area with greater consistency and clarity. 2. The Model II also uses a smaller, more compact, and lighter-weight power stand design with convenient folding legs for easier setup and transportation. The L1 Compact is a smaller system. It has one bass speaker built into the powerstand and six smaller speakers versus the Model I and Model II, which have 24 smaller speakers and a separate bass module that houses two speakers. If I understand correctly, you are also wondering about connecting the output of your mixer to the T1 ToneMatch’s stereo input. If you do this, adjustments made at the T1 will affect everything connected to your mixer. This isn’t necessary, however, because the UB1832fx already allows for gain, EQ, and effect adjustment for its individual channels. Whether or not a single L1 can provide enough coverage for a performance depends on the size of the audience. A single Compact is recommended crowds of about 100 and a single Model I or Model II is recommended for crowds of about 500. Thank you! Thanck for the answare and another questions Is enough only single pillar L1 model II and configuration and i do not need two pillar ? - than can i conect on the this system stereo chanal ? - If i used only one pillar i lost stereo sound image ?
|
As long as the audience size you are playing for is within the recommended range (see responses above), it is certainly fine to perform using only a single L1. The L1 systems have a very wide dispersion but the output is mono. So, with a single L1 system there is no stereo image. To achieve stereo sound you would need two L1 systems. You would then connect the mixer’s left output to one L1 and the mixer’s right output to the other L1. Thanks again! MY FRIEND OWNER OF l1 SAY THAT IS NOT good sound with two tower .And is not good for that i m now confused. Can you tel something about it,i styl newer try L1 and no experience for that i need a help dear friends with issue

Hi bortchy, For proper sound, we always suggest using the L1 systems with both sections of the cylindical speaker tower connected. If you are experiencing poor sound from the speakers, try another source and different connecting cables to see if either might be causing the poor sound. If there seems to be an issue with the L1 system, please contact our L1 support team at (800) 335-2673. If you are outside of the US, please visit http://global.bose.com/ for contact information in your area. Hello bortchy, I can help you with your questions. It is perfectly fine to run a set up where you would have two L1 systems working together. The only possible issue that could arise is if you are running a dual-mono set up--where both systems are running the exact same signal. In that case, you may run in to phase cancellation. To avoid this, we would recommend placing the speaker towers at least 20 feet apart. If you set them up with that spacing, you should not run into this issue. Regarding the difference between our systems: The L1 compact is recommended for audience sizes up to 100 people, while the L1 model I and model II are recommended for up to 500 people (with a single system). The differences between the L1 model I and L1 model II were explained by my colleague Bob in an earlier post, but there is no difference between those two systems in terms of power or sound level output. Let us know if you have any other questions, and thanks for your posts.
