Dear Cornelius,
We make a speaker called an 802, and currently it is the 802III. Is this the speaker that you have (and the 502B)? If we assume that you have four 802III's and four 502b's, then you are going to need two Panaray System Digital Controller II's. http://www.bose.com/controller...gital_controller.jsp Using these would give you the proper EQ curves for the speakers. To connect these, you would start by using a mixer, then take the stereo left and right channels to the inputs on the PSDCII. The outputs of the PSDCII's would then get connected to the inputs of whatever amplifiers that you are using. (QSC is a good brand, but we never recommend one amp over another.) You then connect the speakers to the amplifiers. If you require specifics on the amp connections, I would refer you to QSC tech support, but everything up to there should be covered. Thank you, and have a great day! -Eric-at-Bose |

Hello Mr. Torres,
You are doing what is known as a bi-amp setup. I have attached a diagram of a typical setup with two amps. You can find the same diagram on Page 7 of the owner's guide for your Panaray Controller. There are some slight differences as it applies to your set up, which I will explain. First off, the diagram shows 2 802s and 2 MB4s. It is basically outputs of a mixer into the Panaray, and outputs of the Panaray into amplifiers, which in turn connect to the speakers. Each of the little triangles in the diagram represents a channel on an amplifier. In your case you will be connecting the 502Bs in the place of the MB4s. Second, since your set up will be for four 802s and 4 502Bs, you will want to do a set up with two Panaray controllers, and you will wind up with a double setup - two identical configurations that both look like the diagram. Lastly you will need to have your mixer configured to have two identical pairs of outputs so that you can take one pair to the first Panaray and the other pair to the second. Refer to your mixer's guide for how to do that. Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions, and thanks for your post! ![]() |
