I just saw this post from July. I'm always looking for ways to improve the sound of my Martin through my T1. What does "49 on the PS1 or 49 on the T1" mean and how do I do it?

Sigh - always something to learn.

Hi dhcrow,

Model I (or Classic) Power Stand Preset #49 is one of the very few Presets that did not get replicated in the stock T1® Presets.

Preset #49 is Taylor 810 with Expression System

The closest T1® Presets would be

Category: Taylor Guitar
Preset: Dreadnought Finger

and

Category: Taylor Guitar
Preset: Dreadnought Strum

Reminder: If you run the T1® into the Compact Channel 2, be sure that the ToneMatch switch is off. (down position)

Thanks for that info. I have been searching for that perfect tone for my Martin OM42 with a K&K mini (haven't we all?). I play through two Classic L1s with two B1s and a T1. The vocals and my Tele sound wonderful. But, the Martin still needs some help. It's a great sound but I know it could be better. I'll try this recommended setting.

Thanks so much!
