After Sanibel, I wonder, how bad are the bugs out on the beach in Georgia? Maybe that's why the people keep dancing and moving. Sanibel was terrible!! I am still itching from the "No-See-Em's" and I was in a screened pool area. I guess they get you going to your condo or loading your gear in the car.

Joel, about twice a year they will tote you off around here. I said they love the holes in the Bose speakers, about the right size to hide in. I also hear you about the Parotheads. You may have noticed I (my site) is a member of the Parrothead webring that Billy Peoples started many years ago. I have played for PH clubs from the Keys to way up north and Louisiana and they are all the same noisy bunch, as they say "they party with a purpose" and they "quietly make noise".

At a lot of those gigs I turn my tower into a palmtree Smile

If you do a search, Rain had the most honest assessment a month or two back where he talked about breaks. His point was, and many club and restaurant owners will agree, you have to have a turnover in tables to make money. He went on to talk about at some venues a mediocre performer was preferred because customers would listen and enjoy for a short time...then move along to make room for the next paying customer.

I realize there are "listening" venues, but for the most part it's about turnover and getting the water and tea drinkers out to make room for wine and top shelf drinkers.

Keep scratchin' Joel and you have to learn how to curl your lip like Elvis to blow em off your face.Big Grin
