Ok here is the question, I currently run a laptop via USB into the Tonematch, I would like to run an ipad the same way however it doesnt have a USB facility, I know I can run out of the Jack in put but want to try a work around first, is there any way I can come from the charger end of the ipad using the normal lead into the tonematch?

Hi Waynedear. Apple makes a little package called a camera connection kit. It contains a USB adapter and a card reader. Both plug into the charger slot. I ordered them when I first got my iPad thinking I could import and export files etc. using them. That hasn't worked out too well since the iPad software doesn't seem to support that.

I haven't a clue if you can get music out that way, but the adapter is available. I got mine inexpensively on Ebay.
