I am using my L1 Classic / 1 B1 for vocals, electric guitar, and acoustic. Sometimes, when we are running pretty loud, it seems to limit on my vocal. Would a second B1 help? Steve |

Steve,
Just a thought.....when you are setting your trims up for your vocals....are you singing as loud as when the system is "limiting"? Just wondering if there might be some clipping going on. Best Wishes, Jeff |

I set the trim pretty good and barely flashes "RED." I was curious if I am limiting, would the 2nd B1 help? Steve |

A second B1 improves headroom in situations where the volumes are getting louder, in my experience.
Even if the gain is *barely* flashing RED, it *could* be compressing, you might back it off until it stops flashing at all. But you know, my former singer's LED flashed red all the time and didn't sound compressed. I waited patiently for two years for him to adjust it...he never did. Then again...it never seemed to hurt anything. (Hi Jeff!) |
