Hi
I have a trio, guitar, bass and keyboard. All of us are singers, I have Parker with electric-acoustic tone, two keyboards, minidick and now we use Mackie mixer for all instrument. Can we use mixer to push two L1 and what preset to use. I suppose that can be flat.
Thanks
Duka

Hi, Duka ... welcome to your first post on the forum.

Two L1 systems would do wonderfully for your trio.

While you could start by simply running the L & R out to each L1 "flat", I would recommend that you think about how you can take advantage of the Bose "Presets" for vocals ("close mic" technique). The specifics depend somewhat on which Model of L1's and whether you get the T1's (particularly with Model 2's), but, in general, (if you stay with the Mackie mixer) you'd look to provide [b]4[/i] outputs from the mixer: 2 vocal-only and two instruments/minidisk/keyboards only.

It is possible that you could eliminate the (probably somewhat large) Mackie with three small T1's -- one for each person. With three T1's, each player controls their own mic and instrument(s); the mini-disk outputs can be connected to an unused channel on two of the T1's. Two of the T1's would be connected to one L1 and the third to the other L1.

There are a number of variations you could consider, but it depends on the specifics of which model L1 you select.
