I've had my L1 M2 for over a year. I used it out of the box and never bothered with the update stuff. I had no trouble, as far as I know - love it.
Today I made myself go through the update ordeal (I'm not technological).I got the firmware to 1.8, the PS updated too (I think, haven't restarted it, don't know what it is anyway).
Now I'm trying to put in the new presets. I AM NOT TOUCHING THE T1 TONEMATCH PRESETS: 1.0.
What banks do I put all the other things in? The Breedloves, the Gages, whatever they are?

In the updater window it had T1 ToneMatch A: Takamine. I updated that, fine, and then Audix and Rickenbacker in B and C respectively.

Then I wanted to update NS design (I play violin). I couldn't see any instruction on which to put it in so I put it in A. Now it is in A, but the Takamine on my ToneMatch disappeared. It also disappeared on my updater.

It's not that I care if I have it since I don't play that, but shouldn't we put everything on, in case a guest comes in?

I'm obviously very confused. I think I'll stop now until I get an answer. This is why I didn't mess with the updating for the last fifteen months.

If I am reading you correctly - you are doing fine.

I have often thought it would be nice to just load in all of the optional Presets in case a guest comes in, but no such luck.

You are correct, you can only load up to 3 banks, and if you need more, you have to swap in the ones you need, as you need them.

Yeah, I agree with your agreement with me.

I just didn't get what "bank" meant, it seems. So we don't have three banks, but rather just three savings accounts. I can work with that, I guess.

yeah, any chance that this will change and the software will allow you to add more than just 3?
