I have a Martin OMJM John Mayer w/ Martin Gold Plus Natural 1 electronics and am testing the L1 Model 2 w/ tonematch this week. Which preset is optimized by the pickup....? How come so few Martin presets??

I must 2nd this query. My Martin D-18 GE w/ L R Baggs imix begs the question.....

Guitar tone is a subjective topic. Many guitar / pickup combinations that do not have a designated preset, will sound very good with one of the several that are included in the T1 as shipped from Bose.

I play mostly Martins, but have others, and most are LR Baggs equipped, but also have a Fishman or two. I like the Taylor presets, there are several and they work quite well with the assortment of guitars that I use.

Once you have your own T1 there are additional presets available for download.

When trying out the T1 this week, set channel eq flat and switch through a few of the preset selections to see if one "sounds right" to you with eq flat. Then tinker with that one to get it fine tuned.
