Help,I'm trying to download ver 1.8 but my pc is telling me it does not know what file created the download.LC

If you have a PC (not MAC) then you need to download this program.

L1® Software Updater (PC).

There are instructions in that file (linked above).

If you have a Mac use this one

Hi ST, I have the updater on screen but when I click to update T1 firmware DSP:1.2 there is nothing in the box to open.I click open but nothing happens.

Hmmm - that's tough to diagnose via text like this.

Here's what I would do:

1. Close the PC Software updater program. Make note of what folder it is in on your computer.
   
   
2. Download Version 1.8 firmware or locate where you downloaded it previously.
   
   
3. Double click that and this should open a compressed folder.
   
   
4. Drag the file called "Bose_T1_FirmwareDSP_ver1.8.bos" into the same folder as you have the PC Updater software.
   
   
5. Start the Updater software again, and click the update button as you did before.
   You should see the file
   Bose_T1_FirmwareDSP_ver1.8.bos
   
   
6. Select the file: Bose_T1_FirmwareDSP_ver1.8.bos
   and click Open.
   
   That should start the process. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Hi ST, no, I get t1DSP 1.8 not 1.9,and when I try to open it I just get windows cannot open this file as it needs to know what program created it.

In the 45yrs I've been in this business, looking for my perfect system, I have tried them all.When I finally bought my Bose 802 system I thought that was it but I have had my L1 for five years now ,since they first became available over here and I know my search is finally over.Thankyou Bose.The T1 is amazing.
