will the pre-sets that you can download for the L1work with the L1 compact

Hi Kevin,

The Compact comes with only ONE fixed "handheld vocal mic" preset for the Mic channel.
It is not changeable.

Channel two comes with a switchable flat setting OR a single built in preset for a typical acoustic guitar.

You cannot change nor overwrite either of the presets on the Compact.

I hope this was the answer you were looking for.

If you have need for various presets, I would recommend a T1 Tonematch engine, which can be connected to the input on channel two.
From there you can utilize any preset in the T1 with the Compact.

Thanks for your reply,guess i didn,t ask the question right , my bad... I have a t1 and was wondering if the presets that are in the t1 or that can be downloaded to it work for the compact? I asume they where designed for the full size l1 line of products...Since i posted this question i found the answer in the faq postings..... Thanks again for your reply.............Kevin
