I perform weekends with my wife as a duo of 2 vocals, guitar and computer backing. all of it goes thru my LI with one sub. I am on my second L1 system. I started out with a Model I and now use a Model II. I moved to the model II for the weight and space saving. and a friend of mine wanted my Model I really bad so I sold it to him when I bought the model II. I started out using the Tone Match and liked it but I eventually went back to a conventional mixer. The reason for that was because I use a BBE Enhancer between the mixer and the LI input. The difference is amazing in projection and clarity. I have another friend who has an LI system with 2 subs and mine actually sounds better because of the BBE. My question is this (I bet you thought I'd never get to a question) Is there any plans to add an enhancer as a software upgrade to the Tone Match? I would go back to using it in a heartbeat if it had that feature. Anyway it is a great system and we receive many compliments on our sound. As an after thought what is the projection comparison between the Model II and the Compact system. It looks like it may work in small venues with the reduced number of speakers in the array but we have outdoor gigs that need a lot of coverage that we achieve with our Model II. Thanks for your time.

Why don't you connect the BBE between the T1 and the L1?
You would need to power the T1 from the optional power supply and connect the BBE's output to the L1 input as with your analogue mixer. Sing like you mean it..........or else shut up and let someone else do it! |
