Hi everybody, this is my first post. I am a new owner of the bose L1 model 2 system.

I love the whole thing...

My question is about the Tone Match presets. I use a Trinity K and K system in my acoustic guitar. Could someone suggest a pre-set on/in the Tone Match that gets close to replicating the Trinity?

So far I'm using the 'conditioned guitar' setting on the 'acoustic' presets, and a little compression. Can I download anything new or better?

thanks

Hi,

Thank you for joining the forum.

Sorry that no one has responded so far. I wasn't familiar with the K & K Trinity system but I just heard a comparison of the Neumann KM 84 and the K & K Trinity. That was really interesting.

I also found another post of yours

I think only one person has ever mentioned a Karol Guitar (Karol Custom Guitars)

So perhaps this is why no one has responded.
Here is a link to the earlier discussion that included a reference to K&K and Karol Guitars.

Hi Mike,

Guitar tone is a subjective topic. Many guitar / pickup combinations that do not have a designated preset, will sound very good with one of the several that are included in the T1 as shipped from Bose.

I play mostly Martins, but have others, and most are LR Baggs equipped, but also have a Fishman or two. I like the Taylor presets, there are several and they work quite well with the assortment of guitars that I use.

Once you have your own T1 there are additional presets available for download.

When trying out the T1 this week, set channel eq flat and switch through a few of the preset selections to see if one "sounds right" to you with eq flat. Then tinker with that one to get it fine tuned.

Good luck. Let us know what you think.

O..

This is sound advice and I encourage you to do some experimenting with the Acoustic Guitar Presets and the Taylor Guitar Presets.

I have a K and K Trinity Western (sound board pickup and blended internal condenser mic) installed in a Martin D16-RGT. I like the 49 preset. I use a Model 1 Classic and sometimes a T1.
Very good sound.

Preset 49 is one of the few Presets that existed in the L1® Model I that does not have a direct equivalent in the T1®.

Try:
Category: Taylor Guitar
Preset: Dreadnought Finger

or

Category: Taylor Guitar
Preset: Dreadnought Strum

These are pretty close.
