T 1 with both Lodel and Model 2

Hi there. I purchased a model 1 about 6 months ago for a two piece acoustic band, 2 guitars, 2 vocals. I was very happy with that so now I just purchased a second one, this time a model 2.
I would like to ask if it's possible or advisable to "mix and match" the T1's. So, I have 2 T1's, Plus a model 1 and a model 2. I would like to be able to freely interchange the T1's between both systems. Is it advisable to have the latest T1 and Powerstand firmaware updates installed on both T1's or should I not update the T1 firmware intended for use with the L1 Powerstand?
Did that make any sense at all????

Hi ND,

Go right ahead and mix 'n match your T1®s to your Model I and Model II. There's no need to treat one T1® differently from the other.

Make sure that both T1®s are up to date.

With respect to the firmware updates for the Power Stands (either model)- there are no recent firmware updates. The firmware updates for the Power Stands (not in the T1®s) and that's why there is no concern swapping things around.

Have I answered your question?

You most certainly have, ST, and thank you very much.
I was also thinking of using the 2 T1's with just the Model 2 for smaller gigs in tight spaces, so the other guy can control his own sound and get familiar with the T1 controls. Are there any potential issues with using both the CAT 5 digital connection and the analogue connections on the L1 M2 powerstand at the same time, from two different T1's?
This stuff is addictive!

Perfect anticipation of a wonderful way to use two T1®s with your Model II.

No issues at all. You need one T1 ToneMatch® Audio Engine power supply and then you can do this.

Great, that's exactly as I anticipated it. Many thanks again for your advise, ST. Looking forward to using the two systems for the first time this weekend.
