With this pedal you are required to plug in the guitar, in my case a Taylor 816ce, and a microphone (Audix OM2.)
I have an older Classic L1 M1 model.
My question is which preset do you think would be best for this set up? I'm only using the single output from the pedal which combines the two sources. Currently I am using preset 14.
I looked up the TC-Helicon Harmony G-XT and it has a line-through for the guitar.
I would take that Line-Through connection and run it to the Classic Channel 2 and try Preset 40 (and experiment with other presets 40-49)
I would run the mono output of the TC-Helicon Harmony G-XT to Classic Channel 1 and try preset 01 and 03, 04, 05
If you try these settings please let us know what you hear and how you like it.
I prefer the combo connection as to the two single outputs.
This is because of volume spikes I've been getting with my Tower system. I've gone over that issue in another post and it was said to be the controller. Being noted that it should be a REV 2 model.
It is, and I still get the volume spikes. So I'd like to keep it to just one channel. Guess I'll just have to set up a little earlier one night and try different settings.
Thanks for the response.
Reading your final response to ST. I suggest you show up somewhere and fiddle the entire evening w/o others present. Stay and fiddle until the solution arrives. Then, when you set up at the next gig, you'll be ready..!!
