I have an L1, model II, double subs with a T1. A while back, I had an issue at a gig where the voltage was apparently a bit low and it'd cause the L1 to shutoff audio (apparently it rebooted the T1 I'm guessing) and required a hard power down. Somebody here told me to update my firmware.
Finally got around to last night. T1 is now at v1.7 but I saw something about updating the L1 as well? Do I assume that this means to power the T1 off the L1 (via ethernet cable), then run the update? Thanks in advance. |

Hi Rick,
Yes, you need to have the T1® connected via the ToneMatch® (ethernet) cable to update the Model II Power Stand. You can also tell by looking at the T1®. Rotary Selector - Prefs Turn to Power Stand Push the button on under the screen Versions You should get version information on the screen. The most current release is 1.3. What do you have? edit: added images This message has been edited. Last edited by: ST, |

I'm tracking with you guys on this issue cuz I only have version 1.0. I have downloaded version 1.3 however, there is no option in the L1 Updater Program that offers a selection to install the newer version of the program. Unless I'm missing something when I start the L1 Updater program. What's the step(s) to take to accomplish this install of the L1 software update?

Don't forget to add that unlike T1 updates which reset the ToneMatch after you select ok, after you select ok for L1 Power Stand firmware updates you must power down the L1 for about 10 - 30 seconds and then turn it back on for the system to complete its task of updating. This is the only way you will see it on the Power Stand firmware page on the ToneMaster.
