We've used our bose several times this summer for instrument monitors at various summer festival type events. Sound guys have been initially puzzled, but then relieved when I tell them we'll only need one monitor mix (just a bit of vocals). All instruments have been monitored through our two PAS placed on either side of the stage. This is our first summer using the Bose in conjunction with larger sound systems in outdoor settings. We couldn't be more pleased. If feels and sounds like we're playing our studio and not detached from each other on some distant moon. As to the sound folks who fear/reject the use of the PAS as personal monitors, they can stay on their own moons.
