Recently I was asked to run sound for Albert Lee at a Music Man guitar clinic, without hesitation i said yes. For those of you who are not familiar with Albert Lee, he has played guitar with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, The everly brothers, and Emmylou Harris to name a few.

I arrived at the clinic about 2 hours early because i wanted to have time to go through the system and explain it to Albert, the prevous day i was faxed a diagram of his setup, which consists of 2 main loudspeakers, 2 floor monitors and an 8 channel mixer, Albert was in for a big suprise!

Albert arrived with signature Music Man axe in hand and asked, "where is the pa," so we told him it was right there, and he looked very skeptical, but we assured him it was going to sound great.

For the clinic Albert used the Personalized Amplification System for his backing tracks and vocals, and for his guitar he used 2 Vintage Fender Bassman amps, the sound was amazing.After the show Albert was all smiles, he could not believe that the system sounded so good, we could not have asked for a better day.
